SENSE R&D

Sense in its history, put a lot of energy into research and development of new sports products or into optimizing the existing products. Our main objective is to bring the limits, on the basis of ideas and know-how, to a higher level.

Sense R & D team brings together younger and older people with knowledge and experience in various fields. Most often we solve problems and obstacles that come in the way of an amateur, professional or extreme athletes. At the same time we are continuously upgrading our knowledge.

SENSE R & D team cooperates with external clients, not only in problem solving but also in the implementation and development of new ideas.

2016/2017

snowboard boot made from carbon fiber - 6th SENSE

In season 2016/17, after five years of development, a racing snowboard boot made from carbon fiber - 6th SENSE, is coming. The boot is a pinnacle of our R & D team, which will surely dictate the future trends in the production of snowboard and ski hard boots made of carbon.

In the World Cup season 2005/06 Jernej Demšar first used SENSE mono baseplate on a snowboard, a concept which later became generally established on the world cup racing scene.

1990

Development of the carbon fiber handle of the bow

One of the first projects, from the beginning of the nineties, was the development of the carbon fiber handle of the bow. At that time an innovative material in bow-making, the bow is now a part of the museum collection about the development of archery.
